WoW Armory

WoW Armory is a useful tool for World of Warcraft players, created by Airology. This app allows players to view character profiles, arena teams, and items as well as guild information and stats. It also provides a news system, generic calendar, and more, all packaged in an easy-to-use and responsive interface.

Players create a character avatar and explore the open game world in a third or first-person view, fighting monsters, completing quests, and interacting with non-player characters (NPC) or other players. The game is driven by a wide range of quest storylines that can affect the individual player and the larger game world.

As the player progresses through the story, more gameplay options are unlocked and the leveling system allows the character to improve its abilities. The game also encourages cooperative play and player versus player (PvP) combat, though the vast majority of gameplay takes place solo.

A key feature of the game is its large and imaginative universe. The topography is realistic and the art direction is superb, creating a world that is vibrant, expansive, and incredible in scale. It is also possible to create a unique look for the player’s character using the game’s extensive range of character customization features.

With the release of Cataclysm, the developer has introduced several changes to the game’s mechanics. These include the elimination of defensive weapon skills and block value stats, eliminating their function in favor of other game-wide defensive systems such as armor, parry, or dodge. The hit rating and expertise stats have also been removed, reducing the chance that an attack will miss in favor of other damage-reduction stats such as armor penetration or parry.
